Hi everyone,
I have been on Tamoxifen for 6 months and am still in the process of completing my cycle with Nolvadex. My cycle is very slow and I'm experiencing hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia and I also have a lot of pain in my joints and muscles.
I am not sure if my body is experiencing anything else, but I'm concerned about the amount of time it takes to experience the side effects.
Please advise if there is any specific advice you would like to provide.
I am just curious if there is any specific advice you would like to provide.
Thanks very much for the reply. My question is, can I take Tamoxifen while on cycle? The cycle is supposed to start on a daily basis and it will take about three months to start being effective.
I'm a woman and I have had side effects from Tamoxifen while on cycle. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but I would like to know if it is something I can get to when I am on Nolvadex.
Thanks again,
Anik

Hi Dr. Anik Kale,
Thank you for your response! I'm not sure if my body is experiencing anything else, but I am concerned about the amount of time it takes to experience the side effects.
I was taking Nolvadex for six months and I'm still experiencing hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, and my joints are becoming quite sore and it's almost impossible to stop the cycle. I'm also not sure if my liver is being affected and I'm not sure if I can go on and on for this duration without stopping the cycle.
The side effects are mild and go away within a couple of days after stopping the cycle. I would recommend you consult with a healthcare provider who can provide you with the right information.
Thanks so much for the reply. The cycle is supposed to be taken twice per day and is supposed to start at the first post cycle day.
I would like to know if it is something I can get to when I am on Nolvadex.
I am also concerned about the amount of time it takes to experience the side effects.
Thank you so much for your reply.
